We upgraded our machines to NeXTSTEP3.0 this weekend and are having problems with TeX. Basically, we rebuilt our server from the 3.0 CD-ROM and installed all the extended packages, including /NextCD/Packages/NeXTTeX.pkg. In principle, our is a vanilla 3.0 system. Unfortunately, whenever you try to tex or latex a file, you get the following: augustus:/Users/ray%tex temp.tex This is CTeX, NeXT Version 3.1a (Fatal format file error; I'm stymied) augustus:/Users/ray% Well I'm stymied too. Given that users with deadlines are clamoring for tex (really loudly :-() any help folks can give would be greatly appreciated.... -- Ray Ghanbari | (617) 253-0723 | "Talkin' bout a revolution..." ray@mtl.mit.edu (NeXTmail OK) |
