I read my news on a VM system (our NeXT SysAdmin isn't sure he can justify the cost of a newfeed to the pursestring gods). I would like to save the news articles as ASCII text and then FTP them to my NeXT account and then read them as flatfile articles, but I can't seem to set the files correctly in Preferences. Can I, in fact, use NewsGrazer without having an nntp connection? If not, is there a site (maybe Freenet?) where I can login and capture Usenet articles to something that NewsGrazer understands. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm sick of NetNews and I'm sick of reading articles in ASCII (essentially non-News) format offline. ------- Harry Wert Queens College Academic Computer Center NeXT Mail: wert@alehouse.acc.qc.edu
