I am having problems using setuid perl scripts since my upgrade to 3.0. I have lost the use of $< and $> variables. When I try the following little test: print "the id is ",(getpwuid($>)),"\n"; print "the id is ",(getpwuid($<)),"\n"; both respond with a blank. It does work fine with a specific uid.
