Hi I've been using tip with my ZyXEL U-1496E for a couple weeks now and I have a question. Tip's UNIX to UNIX file transfer commands (~t and ~p I believe) only seem to work with ASCII files. If I want to transfer anything else with them I have to uuencode it. Am I missings something here, or is this just the nature of the beast? Also is it possible to create an entry in my /etc/remote file that will automatically log on to the dial-up system I use? I know how to get it to automatically CALL the system, but not how to get it to actually enter my user name and password. Thanks Mikael Behrens
