Am considering Versant ODB purchase but its difficult without a look at
product. Does anyone have information, opinions, endorsements, scepticism
about jumping on the bandwagon at the low buy-in price before the end of
the year.

Using Sybase but looking for new multimedia applications heavy on visual
image storage and subject search access. Maybe there is some other avenue
that I should be pursuing and have overlooked. Half a million photographs
need a system/digital home.
