Thanks to all who replied to my software copyright question. I received such a variety of somewhat conflicting responses that an intellectual property attorney's advice seems really prudent. App architecture has changed dramatically from the old huge, monolithic Cobol model, so this suggests that the copyright procedures have changed (some say they have, and others say they haven't :-) Some clever (to me, at least :-) tips suggested how to insert copyright strings into nibs (use an NXStringTable), sound files (sndconvert -i copyright_string), and even tiffs (Tag 33432 in Tiff 6.0 format, but I'm not sure what utility to use). -- Art Isbell Cubic Solutions NeXT Registered Developer #745 NeXT software development and consulting NeXTmail: isbell@cats.UCSC.EDU Voice: (408)335-1154 USmail: 95018-9442 Fax: (408)335-2515
