Has anyone tried running/installing Allegro Common Lisp that was
bundled with NS 1.0 on NS 3.0?  I have an 040 colorstation.  I know
there are some patches for allowing ALC that runs on 2.1 to run on
3.0.  I don't know what (if any) the differences are between 1.0's ALC
and 2.1's ALC.  ALC was unbundled in 2.1 thus I only have the one from
1.0.

When installing 1.0's ALC (ALC version 3.1 according to the doc) we
got some errors relating to cpu type.  Did 1.0 run on 040s?

Anyway, help with this would be most appreciated.
