I'm very disappointed by WP, too! It seems as WP is dropping every
'small' OS. Just a short story about the Amiga WP version: They got
sponsored by Commodore to do the port (some big bucks, developers and
hardware went to WP). When they finished a beta version everybody was
happy, because there wasn't anything better. It was very expensive
though, but I believe it sold quite good! For me the release was just a
beta, because on many modells, printing didn't work well, and some
features just weren't implemented. After doing this 'small' port. WP
dropped WP for the Amiga, nothing new was done, because 'there are too
many cracked versions'. I can't believe this (I own an original, and it was
pretty much money these times, but I thought it was worth the support I
would get...). I'd like to know the reason, why they dropped the NeXTSTEP
port. Surely it isn't the number of cracked versions...

CU,

  Boerny.
