[ very disturbing revelation that the shipping of NS 3.0 has been held up ]

If NeXT's shipper's representative is correct about NeXT requesting that the
shipping of 3.0 be held up, then NeXT owes all of us who have ordered 3.0
prepaid, many of us several months ago, a forthright explanation of the problem
and when we will actually receive 3.0.

Many of us have tight development schedules, little reserves, etc. and just
can't withstand the uncertainty of not knowing what's happening with 3.0 and
when we can count on receiving it.

Companies and individuals who withhold this sort of info have time and time
again found out too late that customers really respond positively to honesty,
no matter how embarrassing or negative, and really hate deception. The truth
will eventually get out and the serious harm done will take much longer to
rectify than any problems caused by being honest and up-front now.
