The RightBrain Software File Server is up and running. It was easier than I thought it would be. Send a message to file-server@rightbrain.com with the the word "help" in the body of the message (or in the subject line) and it will send you a note on how to use it. If you're familiar with Adobe's ps-file-server, then you already know how to use this, because it's basically the same code, although I hacked it so it would support NeXTmail attachments, which makes it much easier to use. I think all the wrinkles are out of it. There's nothing particularly useful stored in it yet; the PasteUp logo as an EPS file, which I put in there for testing, and the RTF files that started all of this :-) It's pretty neat; give it a try. The only thing to be aware of is that it ALWAYS will send you NeXT attachments, because we believe in the technology and we hate ASCII. As soon as Jack gets back from the hospital with his broken fingers all taped up, we can start putting some real documents and sample programs or whatever on the server for you. We're going to try to make it into a real repository of information about Publishing on the NeXT. -- Glenn Reid NeXTmail: glenn@rightbrain.com RightBrain Software 415-326-2974 (NeXTfax 326-2977) Palo Alto, California
