According to UCA (the company handling 'order or shipment' problems for NeXT), the status of NeXTstep 3.0 is that they and NeXT project 7 to 10 days to process the current backlog of orders. Given the 2nd-day air shipping method, that means 9-12 days. So, it means that, as of today, they project worst case receive date to be September 30th (assuming a 5 day work week). They would not comment on whether or why shipments were on hold. Given the announcement of Novell client APIs are licensed as of September 8, I wonder if they pressed new CD-ROMs to reflect that fact (,or more messily, 3.0 orginally shipped with the APIs, without license, and Novell caught it, and forced a legal standoff ;-). -geoff --------------------------------------------------------------- Geoffrey Brunkhorst, RCF brunkhorst@Mayo.edu Guggenheim 10 (507) 284-1805 Mayo Foundation, Rochester MN, 55905 USA fax (507) 284-5231
