Did the product meet your : expectations? In practice does it recognize what you have to say >95% of : the time. My only experience with it was with a demo version in a noisy : computer lab, and it didn't work very well. Is version 1.1 much of an : improvement? In short, is it worth the money? I use 1.1 with a headset mic and it's a big improvement from 1.0. The recognition rate is very good, 95% sounds about right. On the plus side, it's the best dock extender you'll ever get. You may find that you're more comfortable with a messier desktop since a single word to Simon can pull up a buried window. It's great for emacs commands esp. with our limited keyboard. On the minus, if you have to talk to others intermittantly (as in a lab setting), having Simon cover up (or turn off by going to training mode) is a pain. (Even in 1.1) Don't forget to add in the Mic cost to the worth the money question. I'd buy it again. Paul Verket (NeXTmail ok)
