Hi,
I have an annoying problem with Edit that has just reared its head.
I use Edit as a text editor for LaTeX. Lately, I've been getting
LaTeX errors whose route cause is not LaTeX but the seemingly random desire
of Edit to IGNORE TEXT!!!!! (or LaTeX doesn't see the text written)
eg.
\noindent {\bf Lemma (5.6)(c)} \ $p \sim q$ and
$a \in [0,1] \Longrightarrow ap
+ (1-a)r \sim aq + (1-a)r \ \forall r \in P$
on my screen was two lines, with the stuff on lines two and three above
together on one line. But LaTeX totally ignores the third line, causing
errors and endless pain.
How can I fix this WHILE IN EDIT???? I have been switching to a mainframe
version of emacs to rewrite the suspect text (which always solves the problem).
Does Edit have hidden linebreaks????????
Can I see them somehow??????
