Problem with Renderman on standalone NeXT

Hello World!

I've been trying to print the image of a rib file from the
3D demo application included in 3.0. This is a standalone
NeXTstation Color. It tells me it can't connect to localhost.
My machine has a hostname of sapphire.

So... I look in the netinfo database and sapphire doesn't
appear but localhost and broadcasthost are there (as expected).
So, I experimented by changing the local render entry to look
for sapphire instead of localhost. Still no good.

When I upgraded to 3.0, I booted from the 3.0 CD and had it do
a complete upgrade rather than use the update application. I've looked
at the online application notes, but if you have a standalone machine
there is no entry in the netinfo database that corresponds to the
hostname as it states. It would appear to me that you need to create
a network to get this to work, but that can't be right.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
