🚀 go-pugleaf

I can't get any of the rendering packages to render (e.g. 3DReality or
Appsoft's Perspective beta). I've tried Andrew Stone's thing with
setting up my site as a renderer using NetInfoManager and also the
followup someone posted using Demos/RenderManager. Neither do
anything, though I now have two choices in the render option window that
pops up in each application. I can select either, and nothing happens.
No error, no jump in load, nothing. Insty-rendering works fine, just not  
the photorealistic.

I expect I need to do some sysadmin'ing to get it going, but I have no
idea what. I'm running 3.0 (obviously) on a standalone site connected
via SLIP to the CS dept. I've used HostManager to set my site name
to jabberwocky, but apart from that and the messing described above, I
haven't touched any of the sys admin apps at all. I didn't setup a printer
(I don't have one) and the 3.0 install was a clean rebuild. I think I'm
working from a "virgin" setup - at least as far as NetInfo is concerned.

Any ideas are appreciated.
