Suppose I send something to the printer (say, from TeXView). Then I realize it was a huge blunder. How can I cancel the print? My method hitherto has been to take out the paper cartridge and ...... (you get the idea). What should I do? -- Lones A. I keep it hidden until I realize that I made a boo-boo. Then, double- click on the app icon, look at the Queue window and you will see a Delete option. Highlight the boo-booed document and hit delete. Ta-da. You could always hit the 'cancel' button on the print pop-up panel, but that only works about 70% of the time. David L. the simplest and fastest way to cancel a print request is to use the lprm command from the command line. no need to add any arguments
