1) Is there an application which will convert between these 2 formats?
2) Is there an application which will repeat play an .snd or .score file under
   NS 3.0?
3) Were Ensemble and ScorePlayer removed from NS with the 3.0 release? If so,
is this because they are incompatible with 3.0?

Any help/advice/information appreciated, particularly with regard to (2).
