Hello, I've started working full-time on a Next. Although I keep terminal windows open, I generally have them hidden. So, my question is, is there either a talk client, or something that would warn me that there is a talk request active. Thanks in advance! -- Matthew Lewis, University of Amsterdam Grote Bickersstraat 72 +31-20-525 2381 1013 KS Amsterdam Internet: matthew@ic.uva.nl The Netherlands

If you use Stuart and keep a window miniaturized, the shading on the window icon will change when the contents of that window change. Hence, make all your login windows writeable by only you (do a 'mesg n' in them) and keep one miniaturized (do a 'mesg y' in that one). Just to make sure talk requests don't go to the console, you might want to do a 'chmod og-w /dev/console'. -- -- Jeff (jeffo@uiuc.edu) -- NeXTmail welcome
