Fax software for SupraFAX modems?
#1776

I use PDFax for sending faxes using a SupraFAX v.32bis modem. I have
also placed an order for the fax software from Total Systems Software.
Since TotSysSoft does not seem to be ready, and there is no indication
when it will be available, I would be interested in other fax software.
Is there anything else available? Thanks.

I ordered the TotSysSoft faxsoftware about one month ago and they replied
that the software is ready!!!(who knows?) but the installation package
is not yet available. So I wrote that I can installate it myself and
that I want to get it now. Since four weeks I am waiting for a reply!!!
What a nice strategy isn't it ?
Does anybody knows something more?
Anyway I would be happy if somebody could mail me the PDFaxsoftware.
I even didn't knew that one exists!
Thanks a lot and still a happy new year from Berlin to the US

TSS answered you? Good to know since I've dropped them a few E-mails over
the last few months and heard nothing :( I ordered the Fax software almost
one year ago --- to TSS's credit, they have not billed anyone yet for their
"in progress" product --- and would like to see it. Although I've defended
TSS against what I thought were unfair attacks in the past, this is getting
to be a bit much. In my case I bought a Supra modem largely because of
the supposed power of their software. If I had it to do over again I'd
get a Zyxel, a supposedly better modem which already has running software.
(My Supra works just fine, but the "party line" on comp.dcom.modems is
that the Zyxel is superior).

Does anyone have extended experience using the Zyxel software (NXFax)
with a Supra Modem? And could anyone point me towards the location of PDFax?

My contribution will be to call TSS first thing Monday to see if I
can get a timetable out of them. Will report any interesting results here.
