Dumb FAQ: Where is Kermit?

Boy, there is a dumb question I gotta ask but I can't see a FAQ up right
now...

Where can I ftp a binary of Kermit for the next? I would really rather
grab a binary than compile it since I've had some troubles compiling the
one Kermit source I was able to locate. Please send mail.

Thanks-- bill

This binary is available from cs.orst.edu in directory
/pub/next/binaries as kermit5a.170.bin20.tar.Z. I just got it from
there a couple of days ago.

If you want the latest version 5A182 (BETA-4) you can download the source
code via anonymous-FTP from "watsun.cc.columbia.edu:/kermit/sw/cku182.tar.Z"
This does NOT include an executable for NeXT; it just contains C source files
and the necessary Makefile. Once you download it, type "make next" and wait.
At the end you'll have a file called "wermit". You're done.

The binary can be found on watsun as kermit/bin/wermit.next.
