I was mucking around setting up a small LAN at home (my PC and my NeXT) and I mistakenly set up "NFS domain" in the net manager menu. Now the machine just gets stuck when booting from the internal hard disk, just as the manual says it will. No big deal, as I normally boot from the external hard disk (which I now have configured correctly for the LAN), but what is the easiest thing to do to reset the setup on the internal drive ? Boot single-user and do something ? The problem with these menudriven things is you never are quite sure what they do and you can't fix things when you can't use the menu... -- /* * * Otto J.
