I have a colleague who is thinking about buying a NeXTStation. However, he wants to know whether he will be able to connect it to a network at an institute in Germany that he may eventually return to (no sooner than a year from now). The institute uses a Novell network, with an Arcnet interface, whatever that is. Here is a description from someone at the institute: The network at our institute uses a so-called Arcnet interface to connect the server with the workstations, with simple telephone wires and standard U.S. telephone plugs. Can anyone tell me what will be involved in connecting the NeXTStation to the network, under NeXTStep 3.0? Feel free to ask for more information. I don't know more, but I can pass on such requests. Thanks a million. Tim -- Timothy Van Zandt (609)258-4050 tvz@Princeton.EDU (NeXTMail) Dept. of Economics, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544
