I'm having some problems printing some PostScript documents. I'm using our
local (Sun) network's Apple LaserWriter. I have it in /etc/printcap correctly,
have it setup on the servers /etc/hosts.lpd, etc... I can print normal
(ASCII) documents, so I think everything is OK. When I print PostScript
stuff, though, I get errors like this from ehandler.ps:
----
ERROR: typecheck
OFFENDING COMMAND: get
STACK:
/Encoding
/findfont
/findfont
/
/Helvetica
/_NXHelvetica
----
I ran "fontloader Helvetica | lpr -Pnetlw" (netlw is my local name for the
laserwriter), and figured that would fix it. Well, it didn't. I've tried
printing it straight from WriteNow, and also saving it to a .ps file and
printing it from there. Neither way worked. I've pretty much run out of
ideas so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Matt
