There were some postings last month concerning problems after 3.0 upgrade,
namely, the problem w/a missing WindowServer Port. The msg I got was:

   loginwindow : could not find WindowServer port!

The machine was able to reboot properly and I am able to rlogin to it
from another machine.  The only problem is, I get nothing at the terminal.

This was a common problem, as I saw several postings on it, but I was
unable to take notes on the solutions.  If anyone with answers/solutions
could re-post or email me, it would be greatlyappreciated.
