I am tasked with tracking daily usage at our Universities NeXT cluster. Is there a tool that would simplify this task for me? Currently, I run a shell script at the end of each month that gets a summary of information from the /usr/adm/wtmp file for each system. Somewhat combersome, but it does the trick. Now I'll have to parse each line (and differentiate console and tty logins from the same user) in order to adequately do the job. If you have any suggestions or know of an existing tool, please e-mail me. Thanks in advance (NeXT Mail welcomed/enjoyed). -- John A. Mastrolia deepthought!jmast@ms.uky.edu University of Kentucky
