| My NeXTdimension Turbo and another NeXTdimension Turbo are suffering from
| a strange behaviour which causes system panic more than twice a day!!
| The /usr/adm/messages and console simply reports "mach panic ... No more
| room in kernel map" and the system dies. Sometimes without syncing which
| causes some other problems!
|
| For further information: There are no special programs running, but the
| systems are running the whole day and are fileservers. We do not log out
| more than once a day (or because of crash). The systems are sometimes
| heavily loaded.
|
| Any comments or suggestions????

Just comments:

I have a 25 MHz NeXTdimension and I have had at least four of these exact panic
messages. The first three happened every time I was printing, but now that
I've run the PrintManager I can print. The most recent happened today when I
clicked on a posting in rec.music.synth which NewsGrazer mistook for a
NewsGrazer posting (it showed a standard text file document in the Article).

My machine has NOT been heavily loaded at these times!
