I am having trouble with our sendmail. (All of it seems like witchcraft to
me.) How do I direct output to a file? I tried in sendmail/aliases

sysadmin: /Users/ivo/Mailboxes/sysadmin.mbox/mbox

loaded it (newaliases),  and   tried  mailing  to sysadmin.  This  worked fine
locally,      but  when  someone from  another    machine   tries  to mail  to
sysadmin@next.agsm.ucla.edu I get a file creation error:

PS: I would rather not install a  new system (like  IDA),  because I had tried
this once, which screwed up all mail-delivery completely, and because I didn't
know the internal mechanisms  of mail-delivery, then went  back spending a few
hours reinstating the old sendmail system. (It  was  *NOT*  plug-and-play, and
there was no easy uninstall.)
