O.K. I'm having problems with atalkd. I can print O.K., but if the printer runs out of paper, or anything else (the phase of the moon? 8^) ) disturbs the process, I get atalkd taking over the system (90+% of cpu) when *no* printing is happenin. Clearly (as others have reported) something fishy is going on. Unfortunately I can't 'not use this feature' because it't the only sane way I have to print. (Without buying GatorPrint :-)). So any- way, my question is... Is there a 'right way' to kill/re-start atalkd without re-booting? Has anyone tried it? thanks! -steve -- Steve Spicklemire steves@truevision.com (daily) spicklemire@gandlf.uindy.edu (NeXTmail!) Dept. of Mathematics and Physics, Univ of Indianapolis (317) 788-3313
