I have a NeXT running Mach 2.1. The swap file keeps growing when certain applications (such as Scene are run). It grows so large that my system eventually shuts down do to "System File Full." It allows the swap file to get so large that the system cannot reboot from the hard drive, because of no room left. I must then reboot from optical disk. Any any ideas on how to set the swap file at a certain size or how to keep enough room in the file system to allow rebooting????? Richad Hein Oak Ridge National Lab. :-)
