Well, in my search, I have run into some good suggestions, too bad that none of them
seem to do exactly what we want. Great thanks to everyone that replied so far, you have
given me some good ideas.
Mostly the problem with any app is that you have to set Public Window Server on each
machine you want it to run. That makes things kind of "insecure" for the normal user (or
Sys Adm.) So here is one more question on this subject:
Is is possible to set Public Window Server for a group? Meaning, could only a
certain group write to the Window Server so that we could disable the Public Window
Server access for the rest of the network. This would pretty much solve the problem and
would allow an App to be run and pop-up on the remote machine.
Thanks to all of you that have making suggestions/etc.. Keep them coming and maybe
we can fix this.
