disappearing home icons?

I've had this peculiar problem at home, and haven't
been able to figure it out.  For one account on my
NeXT, when I move the browser to other people's home
directories, I get a folder icon, rather than the
"multiple homes" icon.  All of the other accounts
seem to work correctly, just this one has the problem.

What gives?  Any ideas?
