SUN CD-ROM drive and installing 3.0 (the 2048 block size problem)

I seem to recall that someone had used the SUN cd-rom drive (connected to
the NeXT0 to upgrade to NS3.0. I am now trying the same but I get the
2048 block size problem. I was wondering if there was a fix for this so
that the 3.0 cd can mount correctly...I don't remember one being posted
and it conflicts with my thoughts that this blocks size conflict is
unresolvable.

Any comments welcome.
