Re: Upgrading a server to 3.0 We have begun to upgrade our Next-Network to system 3.0. We have a collection of different hardware(*), and for all of them the upgrade works fine. However, we ran into problems with upgrading our server (NextCube'040-660MB(446+216MB) with NextDimension board). As in all other cases, we mount the CDROM drive (which is attached to another host) and launch the Upgrade application. Then just before the "plan upgrade" panel appears a warning panels pops up saying: "Another program has control of the SCSI Bus. Hard disks, SCSI floppy disks, and other SCSI devices can't be built." After that, the "plan upgrade" panel appears, but on the left side it only offers the Optical Disk as the only selection for the device that should be upgraded. Has anybody seen such a warning panel before? Does anybody have a clue as to what this other program could be? Any comments are highly appreciated.
