I had sendmail 565c+IDA running fine under 2.1 and when I upgraded to 3.0
I simply replaced the /usr/lib/sendmail with my 2.1 sendmail and also
copied over the cf's in particular created a symbolic link: /etc/sendmail.cf
to /usr/local/lib/mail/cf/steffi.cf 

when I send mail to an outside user nothing gets put in /usr/spool/uucp/D.hostname.

any ideas?
