NFS to IBM mainframe

Hi,
I got my turbo Nextstation about 4 months ago. The system people here
at work are letting me have a small amount of the our IBM mainframes disk
space. It is running VMNFS and that seems to be working fine. The problem
that I am having is that when I issue the following mount:

   mount -o ro,soft umslvma.umsl.edu:c1899011.191,ro,password=mypassword
     /u/ben/test

It seems that VMNFS needs the password to the account that is holding the
disk space. The problem is that when users do a 'df' is shows all the
stuff after the word soft. Does anyone out there know how I can fix this
becuse I can't let people see my password to this account. Any help
would be great.
