I am helping a friend set up his NeXT and niether of us now want we're doing ... he has Unix experience and I use a MAC (don't get started on that) Anyway... He has 8Mb of memory and the machine is constantly and I mean constantly accessing the disk to do even the tiniest thing...he's run version 2 of the system and would like to know how to get the most performance out of the machine as it is now.... he'll add memory later.... but is hoping that this disk frenzee can be stopped or at least lessened.... Any help would be great.... TED
