Purdue and Orst hosed?

Are both the purdue and orst archive sites hosed, or am I hosed?  I am unable  
to upload a 289K file to either server.  Each one gives me the following  
message:

netout: Broken pipe
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

(nova and orst do this, sonata just freezes up).

How can both be going bad at once?  Could there be some other problem with my  
connection?  Who would I contact at these sites?

Thanks for any suggestions all you really wild NeXT doods.
