I'd like to add an environment variable to *any* process. I thought of putting it in /etc/rc.local at startup, but the problem is that it has to depend on the user using it, so something like ~/Dir or $(HOME)/Dir. ~/.cshrc is not always read, neither is the defaults database, I think. Or am I mistaken? Thanks, -- Gerben Wierda Tel. (+31) 35 833539 "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there."
