I am trying to print to an HPsi III on a Netware server. The problem we have is that the si III is set for PCL emulation. It can switch to postscript via an escape code. On the DOS side, if they want to print ps, there is a parameter that is set in the netware setup per client (the term eludes me, I'm not a Novell sysadmin, and that person isn't here). We don't see anything analogous on the Next printer setup. Now, I can see the printcap definitions. There are lots of fields starting with n, like nps, that I know deal with Netware printers, but I can't find any reference to them in my on-line docs (I do have 3.0 extended). Any hints, clues, or even solutions are appreciated. -- Dirk Herr-Hoyman Internet Publishing Specialist University of Wisconsin - Extension hoymand@wisplan.uwex.edu 608-262-0518 (voice) 608-265-2530 (fax)
