Does anyone out there know the boot option to enable the "pretty
graphics" during booting (instead of all the useful bootup information)?
  (I have a friend who doesn't appreciate the information as much as I
do... ;-)


I assume it's a boot-option stored in the non-volatile memory, as
changing the mother-board resets it.

Alternatively, does anyone have a man page for fbshow?
