Our SNMP agent for NeXT has been shipping for several months and is in use at many large installations. Our agent has numerous private extensions providing detailed information on processes running, file systems, swap files, virtual memory status, CPU utilization etc. We are about to start Beta test (within a few weeks) of our NeXTSTEP SNMP management software that is compatible with our SNMP agent and any MIB-I/II SNMP device. This software will allow the user to configure maps of his network (and all the devices) and set alarm thresholds for various MIB variables for automated monitoring. Please contact us for further information. -- Regards, Errol Ginsberg Ridgeback Solutions SNMP Network Management for NeXT info@ridgeback.com Tel: 310/456-6094 Fax: 310/456-9715 Disclaimer: I work for Ridgeback Solutions so my opinions are of course biased. -- Regards, Errol Ginsberg Ridgeback Solutions SNMP Network Management for NeXT
