Since I've had a few requests, I will be compiling the mtools and put them
on sonata and cs.orst. There will be the sources and binaries or those who
don't have the extended system. The binaries will be for the internal drive
only.
I will probably do that late tonight, Pacific time.
The mtools are a series of programs to read, write, copy and generally
access files on DOS formatted disquettes in Unix workstations. The command
syntax is more or less equivalent to their DOS counterpart, like
copy foo a:bar
They are much faster than the workspace, or, from what I've seen from this
thread, equivalent capabilities on Suns.
Hope it helps,
Lga.
