Greetings netlanders,
I have a '040 cube with a working optical, 33o internal maxtor, and
the NeXT CDROM drive. I would like to build a clean system from the
3.0 CDROM. I also have UpGradePrep.app on optical disk.
Could anyone who has gone through this process, e-mail me a brief
description of the process? Here's where I am confused:
The Release Notes say that if one does not have a Turbo, one must have
the CD-ROM Tools floppy in one's floppy disk drive and then boot from
floppy and CD-ROM. Can I put CD-ROM Tools on the optical disk?
Next, they say if you have an internal floppy disk type bfd at the rom monitor
prompt. If I use the optical, should I say bod?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
