Hi all, I was trying to get a SLIP link running (with Louis's DialUp-IP), and that all went successfully. I was able to ping and ftp between computers over the serial link, but I was unable to nfs mount one filesystem to another. I expected this to be quite slow, but when I tried to mount, the client computer (the one I executed the mount command on) just hung. The server ran fine, but no packets seemed to be coming across. I could still ping the (hung) client from the server, so it was not completely dead. The client was 3.0PR2, the server was 2.1. I am guessing I just have to set some timeouts to unreasonably high values. Has anyone nfs mounted over SLIP, and if so, could you share you mount command??
