I have a 32bis supra fax modem and am using ZyXEL fax driver. After a couple of tries, it seemed to send a fax --- CD and FX signs appeared on its display for a minute or so. Then, it went into Auto Answer mode. The problem is that I cannot reclaim the serial port. I rebooted the system while the modem is off. (I took off the fax using PrintManager too, but still no effect.) But, the serial port (/dev/cua or /dev/cufa) are busy. I checked /usr/spool/uucp/LCK, but there was no lock file either. How can I reclaim the serial port? Please reply to yu@cs.utexas.edu Many thanks in advance. Yeong ------------
