I have had no responses the first time I posted this message, so here is another post, can somebody PLEASE help? :


  I keep getting the following error when trying to load in certain .apps:
  
  
  
  localhost pbs: msg_send error: -101, with msg_id = 21



 I have a standalone system, and the error occurs only when I create new
 accounts on the system.  My own account works fine ( I am in the STAFF, WHEEL,
 and OTHER groups).  When I create new accounts (ie. for my brother to use), he
 cannot launch various apps due to the above error.  Then when I log back in
 with my account after his account posts the error, I start getting the same
 error when I launch apps.
 
 WHAT IS WRONG?
 
 I noticed the new accounts all belong to the group "other". Also, does this have 
 something to do with file permissions???  I don't think so because all the apps
 are "read and execute" for all users.  I am totally dumbfounded, and this
 is really frustrating me.  It seems like my filesystem is corrupt, but
 fsck gives me no disk errors.  Maybe it is a problem with my CPU???
