Last eve I wrote about disk problems: >I've recently run into my first disk errors on my cube's scsi disk and am >looking for ways to map them to a bad block area on the drive and out of >the file system. I've looked at disk(8) but this does not seem to offer a Vince DeMarco <vince@whatnxt.cuc.ab.ca> sent me mail suggesting the reasb utility that he'd ftp'd from NeXT; I got it and it worked. Not being the trusting sort, I did recompile before running it. My system is still running OS 2.0, and the drive in question is a Segate Wren VI. Robert Lutwak <robert@neon.mit.edu> wrote me saying that he had tried the same program on his Wren VII, but with no luck. Robert did not say what version of the OS he was running, and I'm not sure that it matters.
