Greetings, We just installed a WANGDAT 3200 for tape backups, but the software we ordered to work with it: "SavetyNet" (mentioned in the last article in NeXTWorld Mag.) won't arrive for a while yet. I need to test this thing and make sure it's working (I did all the internal connections...scsi chaining inside a Sigma 2 bay drive etc., so there was a certain amount of guess work.). I'd appreciate any help/advice on some commands I could use to test this tape device and see if the cube seems to acknowledge it and will dump files to it. I know virtually nothing of this thing so any advice is welcome. Many thanks Anthony Holland Skidmore College ps it hasn't exploded yet, so that's a good sign that I connected the power supply properly ! (no >?) tholland@pars.skidmore.edu
