I've seen references on the net to something called NFSExtend, which I believe is a shell script (?) that allows a NeXT without the Extended version of the software to get access to the Extended software from an NFS server that has it. My recollection is that it works by mounting the root of the server on the small-disk system and then defining links for all the missing software -- or something like that. I also saw a reference to it in NeXT's documentation for the 3.0 beta test. Can someone tell me whom (person? email address? other?) to contact at NeXT to get this thing? Or anything about how to obtain it? Thanks for any help. -- Bob Cook bobcook@slac.stanford.edu Stanford Linear Accelerator Center NeXT mail okay
