Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. > What would you like to know? We have three rs6000's that are used as number crunchers. We have a raft of nexts that are hooked to the same ethernet. Typically people use Edit to write their code, Stuart to connect to the IBM, xlf on the IBM to compile their code, run the code, and use nxyplot, mathematica, SciPlot, and hippoplotimus to look at results, and FrameMaker and TeX to write their papers. The Nexts and the IBM's share a common user filespace via NFS. There are basically two programs that people run on the console of the IBM's. XV and flight.
